Bella Magari In Cherry Creek Denver

My journey with Bella Magari has been so darn fun. It’s also been a huge learning curve. From learning how to build, launch and manage an online store, to learning the hard way that some suppliers are not reliable and have crap items (so glad that’s fixed), then of course learning all about how to do pop-up shops (which is one of my favorite parts of my journey so far) and now navigating having an actual physical location for Bella Magari! It’s all been such a journey, with many successes and many frustrations. But that’s business y’all! Business isn’t for the faint of heart, it’s not always easy, it requires a lot of learning and growing, and it also requires a ton of faith in God. At times I didn’t know the EXACT direction for my boutique, but it’s not my job to know the future. It’s my job to stay in line with my values, work my butt off and have faith the God will guide me in the right direction.

I didn’t think having a physical location was an option, I thought the only way that’d be possible was to own a storefront. At the Sugarplum Bazaar last November I heard some of the vendors talking about The District Shops so I immediately looked into it. The concept is brilliant and a perfect match for my life. The District Shops is a huge building next to the Cherry Creek mall that has 300+ local vendors! You can come to one location but shop all of these amazing local shops! In fact, you can grab stuff from any boutique and check out at the same register, it’s so convenient and I love it. When I first walked into The District Shops it was love at first sight! I was in awe at how adorable each vendors spot was, and in love with so many products (I wanted to buy like 100 things in the first ten minutes). You can come to one location and find treasures for yourself, your home, your little one, your spouse, etc. It’s got a bit of everything but somehow it all flows together and looks extremely cohesive throughout the store. I love supporting local businesses, especially now that I am a small business I see the importance in choosing to shop small instead of rushing to Walmart for every need.

The primary reason The District Shops is a perfect fit for me is that I don’t have to actually be there all the time. My first priority is being a mom and taking care of Giulian. My dream is to have my cake and eat it too. Meaning I want to build a business and be a stay at home mommy and raise my own kids. If I opened an actual storefront all by myself I think it’d be more time consuming than I could even fathom, and I’m just not in a season of life where that’d work. I think I’d love to do more locations like this, who knew but turns out there are a ton of places like this in Colorado! It's becoming the new way to shop and I love it.

To celebrate the launch of Bella Magari and Never Skip Brunch Boutique in The District Shops we threw a blogger party (of course)! We invited all of the local bloggers out for a VIP experience at The District Shops so they could sip, shop and snack after store hours. It was such a blast, thank you so much to everyone who came out that night to celebrate! It truly meant the world to Cara (Never Skip Brunch) and I. Take a peek at the pictures below to get a behind the scenes view.

Another special thank you to Renee from Astonishing Cakes for creating the most beautiful spring themed cake pops, they were stunning and delicious and got gobbled up right away ;). Thank you to Culture Meat and Cheese for providing charcuterie boards to snack on. And another thank you to Mel with Malwine Studios for taking the most amazing photos of the night! Mel takes the most beautiful photos and is in the Denver area if you’re looking for a photographer that is super versatile.

Fall Style With Bella Magari Boutique + Denver Holiday Pop Up Shop Schedule

Well readers, it’s been a full year since I’ve done a fashion post on the blog… haha honestly I seem to only do them in the fall. That’s probably because I’m obsessed with fall style and it’s the only time I want to get on here and write about what I’m wearing! Also because when I was pregnant and postpartum I really wasn’t excited to share my maternity clothes with ya’ll or my “fat jeans” (kidding). Obviously since opening Bella Magari Boutique I’ve been more in tune with the fashion world, more excited about what I’m wearing and as a result, will be posting more style posts here on the blog. Getting to pick out our fall collection was SUCH a treat! Like I said, I love fall fashion (boots, sweaters, knits, leggings, scarves, booties, all of it), so getting to pick exactly what I thought girls want to wear and see this fall was so much fun! To make the Bella Magari fall collection even sweeter, I got to shoot some of the items with my best friends (not the whole collection)! We laughed the whole time and had such a blast, the outtakes are too funny.

Take a peek inside our fall collection and make sure to check out our pop up shop schedule for the holiday season! If you live in Denver, come see me at one of our events so you can tough the clothes, try on and grab items for your loved ones this Christmas!! I’m so excited to get to interact with shoppers in person! I want to help you find items that are a perfect fit for you, ones that make you feel great! There will also be a few exclusive items at the pop up shops that you won’t be able to grab online (lucky you Denver). As of now those items are a vest (not one shown below) and some amazing earrings made by an amazing U.S. jewelry designer.

Thanks for following along on my “boutique owner” journey, it’s been such a blast and also such a learning process. Bella Magari will always be improving, getting better and striving to bring your great clothes at affordable prices.

Jewelry:

When choosing the jewelry I was super inspired by the geometric trend you see right now. Almost every jewelry item we have currently is geo inspired, rectangle, circle, v shapes and even hexagons. We have a ton of rose gold options, probably because it’s my favorite, and of course we have the traditional gold and silver.

Tops + Sweaters:
